What to expect from this party
Our Camping Theme kids party is all about camping and outdoor skills. If your child likes to watch Bear Grylls then this is the party for him. We teach the children a range of boy scout / outdoor survival skills and activities in this party. We supply all the equipment in terms of ropes, poles, tarpaulins etc. Kids are shown how to tie various knots and are encouraged to use their own ingenuity to complete tasks such as building a stretcher and building a waterproof shelter for them and their friends to take shelter in for a waterproof test.
This party contains a mixture of high impact, upbeat activities that will help get the blood flowing as well as some thinking and gross motor skills development activities. Boys will be boys and our camping themed action party is the ideal activity to make sure they have fun in a safe and educational environment.
One of the highlights of the camping theme party is lighting a fire. We demonstrate and allow the children to try their hand at starting a fire using two different methods. The first method is using a flint and the second using Potassium Permanganate and Glycerine, these two chemicals spontaneously combust when mixed together and provide a way to make a fire even in the most difficult conditions. Saftey is very important to us and the proper precautions are explained, demonstrated and exercised with the children during this activity.
