Amazing Race Team Building Event
Our Amazing Race team building event is suitable for groups looking for an active day out with team building objectives and a fun learning experience. We have done numerous events for teams ranging from small private groups of 20+ people looking to blow off a bit of steam and have some fun, right up to corporate team building functions for 350+ people with high-level objectives and outcomes based activities aligning with organizational cultural transformation objectives.
Venues
JHB Zoo
We have a standard team building amazing race set up at the Johannesburg Zoo, this is an ideal venue with loads of space and no venue hire fee payable for smaller groups. Our charges for the event include entrance to the Zoo for the day.
Conference Venue
The structure of our Amazing Race is adaptable to a wide variety of conference venues. If you have a venue in mind we can asses the suitability for you and advise accordingly. We also have a database of venues around Gauteng that we are able to recommend for this event so don’t hesitate to contact us in this regard.
Public Parks
Johannesburg is blessed with a number of awesome open public spaces that are suitable for our Amazing Race Team Building Event. As well as being free, these venues have wide open spaces and allow for a wide range of activity challenge options.
Multiple Locations
The Amazing Race theme for your team building event lends itself to using multiple locations as part of the event. We have done events, around Hartebeespoort Dam, across JHB including venues like the JHB World of Beer, Zoo Lake, Kyalami Sports and Function Centre, Shopping Centres, Soweto, Heritage sites etc.
Objectives
Communication – teamwork – delegation – planning and strategy.
You will follow a series of cryptic clues to get to various locations around a venue or to a number of venues throughout the day.
Teams will compete in a number of different activities for which points will be allocated and time taken will be a factor in the final results of the amazing race.
Prizes will be awarded to all participants in the event. This team building experience will provide your team with an opportunity to, learn about the skills, strengths, and weaknesses of other team members by stepping out of some comfort zones and using the element of competition to harness the value of teamwork as well as having a great company day out.
